Yacht charter Hamptons
The Hamptons are a summer season, and a short one: Memorial Day to Labor Day, with July and August the heart of it. For those weeks the East End of Long Island becomes one of the best yacht days in the country. Sag Harbor is the hub, Shelter Island and Sunset Beach are the lunch, Montauk is the ocean and the end of the road, and the boats that do it all winter in Florida and come north for the summer.
Every rate on this page is the rate we hold. We publish day charter prices for the Hamptons boats we work with, from €3,933 a day up to €14,421 for the largest, and weekly rates for the crewed yachts that cruise up to Newport, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Demand outruns supply for the big weekends, the Fourth of July above all, and the fleet is smaller than Miami's. Book early, be honest about the group, and tell us if the day needs to end at a particular dock for dinner.

Where you actually go
The classic Hamptons day. Out of Sag Harbor, across to Sunset Beach on Shelter Island for lunch, then a slow afternoon in the coves of Coecles Harbor or off Wades Beach. Flat water, easy anchoring, a village to come home to.
The ocean side. Out past the lighthouse, along the bluffs, and a swim off Ditch Plains or Gin Beach, with the fishing fleet and the Surf Lodge crowd in the harbour. Bigger water, better on a bigger boat.
The quiet alternative between the forks: Greenport, the wineries, Robins Island. Sheltered when the ocean is up and usually a lot less busy.
The New England week on a crewed yacht: Newport's harbour and mansions, Block Island, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Late June to early September, and the same yachts that winter in the Bahamas.

How much does a yacht charter in the Hamptons cost?+
Day charters in our Hamptons fleet run from €3,933 to €14,421 for the boat, crewed, for the day. Crewed weekly yachts cruising New England start at €350,000 per week plus expenses. Every number on this page is the operator rate we hold, and the quote spells out tax, fuel and gratuity before you commit.
Do I need a licence to charter in the Hamptons?+
No. Every boat on this page comes with its own professional captain and crew. You board and the captain runs the day.
When is the season?+
Memorial Day to Labor Day, with July and August the busiest. Outside those dates most of the fleet is in Florida, so a June or September day is possible but the choice is narrower and we will tell you honestly what is in the water.
Where do we board?+
Sag Harbor for most boats, with Montauk, Greenport and Hampton Bays as alternatives depending on the boat and the day. Tell us where you are staying and we match the nearest departure.
What is included in the price?+
The yacht and crew for the agreed hours, usually four, six or eight. Fuel is inside the rate or quoted per trip, and the listing says which. New York sales tax applies to the hire. Crew gratuity is customary at fifteen to twenty per cent. The quote shows the all in number before you pay anything.
Can you do a Fourth of July or a wedding weekend?+
Yes, but book months ahead. The holiday weekends are the first to go, and the bigger boats go first. Tell us the date, the guests and whether you want the boat moving or anchored for the fireworks, and we build it with the captain.
